In 2017, TeamJF was founded by close friends and family of Julian following his courageous but ultimately unsuccessful year-long battle with osteosarcoma. Julian, a remarkable athlete who excelled as an All-American Swimmer and Collegiate Water Polo player, received his diagnosis at the tender age of 19. Tragically, Julian’s story is all too familiar. This is the driving force behind our existence – to generate funds for vital research that can rescue the lives of other children and young adults facing similar challenges.
